Dreamin' of a Pink Christmas

Card #1 for the Jingle Belles Pink Christmas Challenge is pretty basic, just some stamped and embossed trees and a simple sentiment. But it was REALLY hard to get it right. Time after time I stamped my trees, poured on the embossing powder and as soon as I hit it with the heat gun, the trees turned all ghostly and transparent! Could not figure it out for the life of me. FINALLY I realized that my transparent embossing powder is in the exact same type of jar as the white fine detail embossing power. Sigh.

    ok, i have to laugh b/c that is soooooooooooooooooooooooooo something i would do! maybe you can rescue those trees and do an emboss/resist type of thing with them? meanwhile, the WHITE trees here are PERFECT and your card rocks! thanks for thinking pink with us at JINGLE BELLES for a great cause! <3
